A camera hanging on the wall

(good old analog days, dark rooms and paper prints)
I see a camera hanging on the wall
what has the camera ever seen at all
I wonder which pictures it took
I would like to take a look
and where are the pictures now
are they in the darkness of a pretty box
rarely opened, it doesn’t really need a lock
and who in future still will take a look
at a gone by page of an old book
what can we capture at all
being here in the free flow
can we recall the changing colours of last fall
that camera is still hanging on the wall
