I enter numbers into a list, I’m a scientist
as far as I recall I really know it all
I test on mice, calculate the rise and the size
but rather ignore the inevitable fall
I’m intellectual and superior
inside I’m small and feel inferior
I can’t see the earth – I can’t see the sky
because I always have to ask how and why
I don’t admire the beauty of a flower
I prefer to know the height of a tower
I know about the fatal impact and chain reactions
but I can’t be held responsible for my own actions
