inside the medina a giant fair
an amazing maze on the main square

which translates into “the place of the nobodies”
bodies rushing and minds drifting
grooves and melodies monkeys and snakes
friendly and fake
mostly for money’s sake
some give and some take
it’s a gamble and a game
without guilt – without shame
ultimately an exuberant orgy of the senses
a place full of kindness and blatant offenses
a place to be carried away
